Don’t Just Have a Ham Radio License. Use It.
Sin City Repeater Group is built around actually doing Amateur Radio. We get on the air, build and maintain repeater systems, operate special events, experiment with new technology, support public-service activities, introduce new people to radio, and get together with other operators throughout Las Vegas and Southern Nevada.
This calendar is where you find what is happening next. Look for Las Vegas ham radio nets, operating events, technical projects, training opportunities, STEM outreach, public-service activities, social events, and other reasons to pick up a radio and participate.
Find Your Next Reason to Get on the Air
See what is coming up and join us. Most activities welcome members, visiting operators, new hams, and people who are still working toward their first Amateur Radio license.
We Make Memories, Not Meeting Minutes.
We are more than a monthly-meeting kind of club. Some amateur radio clubs are organized around the next meeting. Sin City Repeater Group is organized around the next experience.
We want our members getting on the air, visiting repeater sites, building and maintaining radio systems, learning new technology, operating special-event stations, supporting public-service communications, introducing people to Amateur Radio and STEM, experimenting with equipment, and spending time with people who actually enjoy doing radio. Take a look at what we actually do and you will understand the difference.
We still have meetings when there is something worth learning, discussing, planning, or deciding. But the meeting is not the destination. The experience is. We want members to leave with better skills, stronger friendships, good stories, and another reason to use their Amateur Radio licenses.
