What We Actually Do
We build and maintain repeaters, get on the air, teach by doing, and create real ways to experience amateur radio across Southern Nevada.

Sin City Repeater Group is an active Las Vegas ham radio club for people who want to use their license, learn new skills, build reliable communications, and meet other operators.
New to radio? You don’t need expensive equipment or years of experience. Come to an activity, ask questions, and find the part of the hobby that interests you. Many events welcome visitors and prospective hams.
Build and maintain repeaters
Install, test, troubleshoot, and improve repeater and linked-radio systems. Work includes antennas, feedlines, coverage testing, AllStar linking, digital voice, and radio programming.

Operate on the air
HF, Parks on the Air, Field Day, digital modes, contesting, and special event stations. Newer operators can learn alongside people who are operating now.

Teach by doing
Help new hams with their first contacts, radio setup, antennas, and operating skills. In 2026, a hands-on demonstration introduced about 55 Civil Air Patrol cadets to amateur radio and HF operation.
