Sin City Repeater Group Newsletter Archive
The Sin City Repeater Group, Inc. newsletter documents amateur radio activity, technical projects, education, operating events, and community outreach throughout Las Vegas, Henderson, North Las Vegas, and Southern Nevada.
As an active Las Vegas ham radio club, SCRG is focused on getting people on the air, helping new amateur radio operators develop practical skills, experimenting with new technology, and building reliable repeater and communications infrastructure. Our members participate in everything from local repeater operations and AllStarLink to HF, digital modes, special event stations, portable operating, antennas, APRS, public-service communications, STEM outreach, and technical experimentation.
Each issue of the SCRG newsletter highlights what our members are actually doing. That may include amateur radio events in Las Vegas, repeater system developments, technical articles, operating accomplishments, new-ham education, community partnerships, contesting, special event stations, or unusual opportunities to get on the air.
The newsletter also serves as an archive of the continued growth of W7RPT and the Sin City Repeater Group amateur radio community. Our goal is not simply to talk about amateur radio. We want to create opportunities for people to operate, learn, experiment, teach, build, and contribute.
Browse current and past issues below to see what is happening within the Sin City Repeater Group and the broader Southern Nevada amateur radio community.
