Initially licensed at twelve years old, Bill N4NJJ has become fascinated with everything radio. Licensed in March 2005 during a VE Session held at the North Tonawanda Civil Defense Headquarters by the Amateur Radio Association of the Tonawandas (ARATS), Bill has been active member of both the Western New York and Las Vegas ham radio communities.

Over the years, Bill has been a member of several different radio organizations including: Lancaster Amateur Radio Club, Amateur Radio Association of the Tonawandas, Lancaster ARES/RACES, and Clark County ARES/RACES. Prior to moving to Las Vegas, Bill served as president of the Lancaster Amateur Radio Club. During his tenure as club president, Bill increased the club membership by 15% and led a significant increase in participation by club members after several years of declining participation.

In addition to these rolls, Bill also served as the Public Information Officer and Assistant Section Manager for the Western New York Section of the ARRL.

Bill currently owns and maintains several ham and GMRS repeaters. His main areas of interest include AllStar Link, P25, and DMR.

He holds several degrees including a Master of Business Administration and Master of Education on top of an organ performance degree.
