URGENT NOTICE: The Las Vegas Ham Radio team is currently working on a multi-week project confirming which repeaters from the Southern Nevada Repeater Coordinator’s list are actually on the air. In the process, we have discovered machines that are coordinated with hams that have been deceased for years. We have also discovered machines coordinated to operators with canceled licenses from nearly two decades ago. Upon querying the FCC ULS, it was discovered that some of these calls have been reissued – in one case, twice!
Consequently, this calls into question the credibility and reliability of all listings.
This has turned into a group effort with nearly 100 fed-up amateurs working on this years-long forensic audit.
